Each winter, the baroque city of Acireale bursts into life with one of Sicily’s most celebrated events: the Carnival of Acireale. Held in the weeks leading up to Lent, this historic festival transforms the elegant streets and piazzas into a vibrant stage of color, music, and creativity.
